The Shore Medical Pavilion expands the services Shore Health System offers for Queen Anne's County residents. Located off of Nesbit Road and US Rt. 50, next to the Queen Anne's Emergency Center, Shore Medical Pavilion began offering many services in December 2011 with others scheduled to open in 2012.
Maryland Primary Care Physicians, a group practice of family doctors, internists, pediatricians, cardiologists and other specialists who provide comprehensive care at offices across central Maryland, have relocated their Stevensville office to the new Medical Pavilion.
The Shore Health System outpatient diagnostic center is now open at the Shore Medical Pavilion, giving Queen Anne's County residents convenient access to x-rays, digital mammography, bone density scans, diagnostic ultrasound, electrocardiograms, MRI scans and laboratory testing.
Shore Rehabilitation Services has relocated from Centreville to offer physical and speech therapy in an expanded clinical facility with many new technical enhancements.
Other medical specialties that will be available at the Shore Medical Pavilion in January include urology, neurology, otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat) and gynecology. Future expansion of specialty care includes orthopedics, gastroenterology, and cardiology.
In 2012, the Shore Health System Regional Sleep Disorders Center will also open a four-bed sleep center at the medical pavilion and cardiovascular diagnostic testing will be added.
